Membership Transfer — Information for Tenants

Before a renter's club account can be activated, the office must receive all three of the following:

Membership Transfer (Renter) Application — completed and signed by both the owner and the renter. Download the form â†—

HOA Lease Approval — the Rental Application approved and signed by the local association's management company. Required for every new lease period.
3
$800 transfer fee or $50 non-transfer fee, payable by check to Naples Heritage Golf & Country Club.

Key things to know:

  • Membership transfers must be for a minimum of one month.
  • When an owner transfers their membership, they cannot use club privileges during the lease period — the privileges move to the tenant.
  • The owner's account must be current at the time of rental or the tenant cannot use club privileges.
  • NHGCC is a cashless club. Tenants receive a membership number, sign for all charges, and settle the final bill by check before the end of the following month. Unpaid balances incur a 17% late fee.
  • Transfers are issued as family units: two people sharing a primary residence plus children under 21. Non-married couples should contact the office about joint-account options.
  • A gate bar code may be purchased at the Clubhouse for $10.60 (tax included), installed Mon–Fri 8:30 am–5 pm.
  • Tenants may host a reasonable number of golfing guests by paying applicable guest fees. The owner cannot be a guest of the tenant.

As an owner, I acknowledge that transferring my membership means that I am transferring ALL of my unit’s membership privileges to the transferee (renter) during the lease period, and I acknowledge that my membership will be inactive during that time. I also acknowledge that owners who purchased their unit after March 27, 2024 (Section 4.4 of Declaration and 2.6 of the Bylaws) are required to transfer all membership rights to the renter. The owner is responsible for ensuring that the office receives all required paperwork at least thirty (30) days prior to the start date of the lease agreement. 1. Membership Transfer Application 2.
